new is just
the same old
remodeled or
rephrased.
old is washed
in colors cold
so it no longer
fades.
and all is joined
by the blank slate
of writers and the din
of poets and the wiser ones
who scribe with prose's pen.
the same story,
rewritten with different shades and hues.
of love and darkness
sadness, joys, and anger just for you.
all is the world, told from
perspective or a view
that makes the reader
seem to think it might be something new.
